The Digital Business Solution (DBS) Bureau manages ICT operations at UNESCO, reporting to the Assistant Director-General for Administration (ADG/ADM). DBS implements UNESCO’s digital strategy by focusing on:
- Integrated Project and Knowledge Management: Enhancing programme delivery through structured project and knowledge management.
- Resilient IT Infrastructure: Providing top-notch IT services to support efficient operations.
- Cybersecurity and Digital Risk Management: Strengthening digital security and compliance.
Internship Opportunities:
DBS seeks motivated graduate/postgraduate students or recent graduates to contribute to its mission. Interns will support various projects under these domains:
- Operations, Helpdesk, Network, Server, and Cloud
- Cybersecurity, Compliance, and AI
- Development, Architecture, and Engineering
Eligibility Criteria:
- Age: Applicants must be at least 20 years old.
- Academic Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a graduate programme (Master’s, PhD, or equivalent).
- Bachelor’s degree holders not enrolled in graduate studies are ineligible.
- Languages: Proficiency in English or French; knowledge of the other is an asset.
- Computer Skills: Strong knowledge of IT systems and office software.
- Soft Skills: Ability to work in teams, adapt to international environments, and excellent communication skills.
Benefits and Entitlements:
Interns earn 2.5 leave days per month. However, internships are unpaid.
Selection Process:
- Internships open in January and July.
- Applications remain valid for six months in the talent pool.
- Selected candidates are contacted directly by hiring managers.
